Penalty for Drug Smuggling in the Saudi Anti-Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Law

Discretionary death sentence for smuggling drugs, receiving them from a smuggler, importing, making or growing them to promote, or promoting them a second time; the court may reduce it to at least fifteen years with flogging and a 100,000-riyal fine; and at least twenty-five years for a repeat offender, public employee, organized gang member or armed offender.
