Finance Lease Contract Register in the Saudi Finance Lease Law

A joint stock company licensed by the Monetary Authority is established to register contracts and leased assets and disclose them to financiers with the lessor's consent; registration establishes the lessor's ownership against third parties; securitization is annotated on the register; and amendments or changes of parties cannot be asserted against others until annotated.

The lessor's ownership of assets is proven against third parties by registering contracts, the lessor must annotate on securitization, and no amendment to the contract may be relied on except from the annotation date.

The article requires the finance lease contract to be written or electronic with specified data, to be recorded in the register of contracts, and any amendment to be attached to it.
يجب أن يحرر عقد كتابي أو إلكتروني بين المؤجر والمستأجر، يتضمن بيانات تتعلق بالعاقدين، والأصل المؤجر، وحالته، والأجرة، وآجال سدادها، ومدة العقد، وشروطه، ويسجل لاحقًا في سجل العقود وفقًا لأحكام هذا النظام، ويلحق بسجله أي تعديل يطرأ عليه.
