A five-member violations committee, including three legal advisers, imposes corrective measures and penalties, with appeal to the Administrative Court within sixty days. Penalties: warning, a fine of up to SAR 10 million, closing the facility for up to one year, publishing a summary; up to ten years' imprisonment for deliberately placing a harmful unsafe product.

- Article 34
A violator of the Law and regulations is punished by a warning, a fine of up to SAR 10,000,000, or closure of the establishment for up to one year. The decision may be published, and the Governor imposes warnings and fines of up to SAR 10,000.

- Article 35
A person who deliberately causes an unsafe product, capable of harming the consumer, to be placed or offered on the market is punished by imprisonment of up to ten years, and the Public Prosecution investigates and prosecutes.
1- يعاقب كل من تسبب عمدًا في وضع أو عرض منتج غير آمن بما من شأنه إلحاق ضرر بالمستهلك بالسجن مدة لا تزيد على (عشر) سنوات. 2- تختص النيابة العامة بالتحقيق والادعاء في المخالفات الواردة في الفقرة (1) من هذه المادة.
- Article 28
It is prohibited to prevent an inspector from carrying out inspection and detection work, or to obstruct them in doing so.
يحظر منع المفتش أو إعاقته عن تأدية أعماله المتعلقة بالتفتيش والضبط.
