Manufacturers, authorized representatives and importers must ensure a product is safe and complies with technical regulations, assess its risks and provide proof of safety; give consumers risk information; and put their name or trademark and contact details on the product.

- Article 10
The manufacturer, authorized representative and importer must give the consumer all information that is not clear to them about the hazard associated with the product, so that the consumer can take the necessary precautions.

The manufacturer, authorized representative and importer must put on the product their personal or trade name or their trademarks and their contact details, and the regulations set the conditions for this.
