Penalty for Abuse in the Saudi Protection from Abuse Law

Imprisonment of one month to one year and a fine of SAR 5,000 to 50,000, or either one, with an alternative penalty allowed; increased to one to five years and SAR 50,000 to 300,000 if the victim has a disability, is a parent or over 60, is a pregnant woman who loses the fetus, or the abuse is at work, school or worship; doubled for repeat offenses; and penalties for inciters and helpers.
