Article 7 of the Saudi Judicial Costs Implementing Regulations

This Article sets the costs of requests relating to case papers and documents, being the requests referred to in Article 8 of the Law of Judicial Costs; the text does not set out the content of that Article:

1. Certified copy: a request by an interested party to be given a certified copy of the case papers or records, paper or electronic, or of documents or papers in the court's possession: SAR 100.
2. Inspection: a request by an interested party to inspect the case papers or records, paper or electronic: SAR 50.
3. Replacement copy: a request for a replacement copy of judicial documents: SAR 100.

Note that the first two requests are limited to an applicant who is an interested party. The Article does not distinguish the amount between paper and electronic records.

The difference between a certified copy and a replacement copy is that the former is a copy of papers, records or documents in the court's possession, while the latter is a replacement for a judicial document. The Article does not specify the cases in which a replacement copy may be requested.
