Authority Staff and Conflicts of Interest in the Saudi Endowments Authority Law

The Authority's staff recruitment regulations, with the Labor Law and Social Insurance Law applying to them. Board members, employees and their relatives up to the fourth degree may not have a direct or indirect interest in the Authority's projects or deal in endowment funds. A violating act is void.

- Article 22
The article requires the Board to issue employment regulations setting the conditions for appointing the Authority's staff and their rights, duties, discipline and termination, and subjects all its staff to the Labor Law and the Social Insurance Law.
1- يصدر المجلس لائحة للتوظيف في الهيئة؛ تحدد شروط تعيين موظفيها، وحقوقهم، وواجباتهم، وتأديبهم، وإنهاء خدماتهم. 2 - يسري على جميع منسوبي الهيئة نظام العمل ونظام التأمينات الاجتماعية.
- Article 24
The article bars Board members, staff and their relatives up to the fourth degree from any interest in the Authority's projects or from dealing in the funds of its endowments, and makes any violating act void.
لا يجوز أن يكون لأيٍّ من أعضاء المجلس، أو موظفي الهيئة، أو أقاربهم حتى الدرجة الرابعة، وجميع من له علاقة بإدارة أعمالها؛ أي مصلحة مباشرة أو غير مباشرة في أي مشروع أو اتفاق يعقد مع الهيئة، كما لا يجوز له أن يتعامل بالبيع أو الشراء أو غير ذلك لحساب نفسه أو لحساب الغير في أموال الأوقاف التي تكون الهيئة ناظرة عليها أو…
