Environmental Violation Fines in the Saudi Environment Law

A fine of up to twenty million riyals and suspension of the license or permit for six months, or its cancellation; violation classification tables; a daily fine, doubled penalty for repeat violations and publication of the decision; the competent authority's fine of up to 100,000 riyals; violation committees and objection before the administrative court; and removal of effects and compensation.

Violators of the Environment Law and its regulations are punished by a fine of up to SAR 20 million, suspension of the license or permit for up to six months, or its cancellation, with further powers for the violation committees.
