Classifying information and documents obtained under the Law as confidential under the law on penalties for publishing and disclosing confidential documents and information, unless publicly available; and everyone applying the Law being bound not to disclose them except where necessary.

- Article 16
This article classifies information and documents obtained under the Emergency Law as classified under the Law of Penalties for Publishing and Disclosing Classified Documents and Information, unless they are available to the public.
تُصنّف المعلومات والوثائق المتحصل عليها بموجب أحكام النظام بأنها معلومات ووثائق سرية وفقًا لنظام عقوبات نشر الوثائق والمعلومات السرية وإفشائها؛ ما لم تكن تلك المعلومات والوثائق متاحة للعموم.
- Article 17
The article requires everyone involved in applying the Emergency Law to keep confidential what they have seen, disclosing it only where necessary for purposes set by the competent authorities, and not without a legal justification.
يلتزم كل من يُعنى بتطبيق أحكام النظام بسرية المعلومات والوثائق التي اطّلع عليها، وألّا يكشف سريتها إلا لضرورة استخدامها للأغراض التي تحددها جهات الاختصاص، وألّا يفصح عن البيانات المتعلقة بها دون مسوّغ نظامي.
