Article 15 explained in plain English
This is the stage of final approval of the visa abroad. The article provides that the Kingdom's missions approve temporary work visas for Hajj and Umrah services on the basis of two things:
- The lists submitted by the visa applicants referred to in Article 13, which are the lists of names and data of the workers the applicant has tested and selected.
- Verification that the technical and professional requirements are met by the workers, which are the requirements the Ministry determines in coordination with the relevant entities under paragraph 2 of Article 8.
The mission therefore does not approve the visa merely because the worker's name appears on the list, but after verifying that he meets the requirements. This means the establishment should select workers carefully from the start, and make sure before including any name on the list that the worker meets the specified requirements.
After approval, the provisions on entry and stay in Article 16 follow. An establishment facing a problem with approval of the visas may consult a lawyer specializing in recruitment and visa regulations.
