The conditions for appointment to the Investigation and Public Prosecution Authority regarding nationality, good conduct, sharia or legal qualification, age, fitness and examination; the six-month training program; and the probation period and appointment allowance.

- Article 1
Article 1 sets eight conditions for appointing a member of the Investigation and Public Prosecution Authority, including Saudi nationality, a Sharia or law qualification, a minimum age of 22 and passing the test.

Article 2 provides that members of the Authority undergo an intensive training program of at least six months, equivalent to one year of comparable work, with the Authority's Council setting rules for implementing it.
يخضع أعضاء الهيئة لبرنامج تدريبي مكثف لا تقل مدته عن ستة أشهر، وتُعد هذه المدة معادلة للاشتغال بأعمال نظيرة مدتها سنة، ويحدد مجلس الهيئة قواعد تنفيذ هذا البرنامج.

Article 14 sets a two-year probation for investigation lieutenants and one year for other first-time appointees, even with prior service, and grants those first appointed an allowance equal to three months' salary.

Article 3 requires anyone holding the rank of investigation lieutenant, in addition to the conditions of Article 1, to have a university degree with an overall grade of at least good.
يُشترط فيمن يشغل مرتبة ملازم تحقيق - بالإضافة إلى ما ورد في المادة (الأولى) من هذه اللائحة - أن يكون قد حصل على الشهادة الجامعية بتقدير عامّ لا يقل عن جيد.
