Dismissal of Employees in Corruption Cases in the Saudi Anti-Corruption Authority Law

A public employee, or equivalent, is dismissed from the job on conviction of a corruption crime. Dismissal may be proposed by royal order if the investigation yields strong suspicions touching the dignity of the post or integrity, without affecting the criminal case.

The article provides that a final judgment of the competent court convicting a public employee, or anyone treated as one, of a corruption crime results in dismissal from his post.
يترتب على الحكم الصادر من المحكمة المختصة بإدانة أي موظف عام -أو من في حكمه- بجريمة فساد؛ فصله من وظيفته.
- Article 21
The article allows the President of the Authority, where an investigation yields strong suspicions affecting the dignity of the post or integrity, to propose an employee's dismissal by royal order after consulting the head of his agency, without affecting the criminal case.
إذا أسفر التحقيق مع الموظف العام أو من في حكمه عن وجود شبهات قوية تمس كرامة الوظيفة أو النزاهة جاز لرئيس الهيئة -بعد أخذ رأي رئيس الجهاز الذي يتبع له الموظف- اقتراح فصله بأمر ملكي، دون أن يؤثر ذلك على استكمال إجراءات الدعوى الجنائية في حقه.
