Article 27 of the Saudi Organ Donation Law

This is the law's closing article, and it contains two provisions:

1. Date it takes effect: the law takes effect 90 days after the date of its publication in the Official Gazette (Umm Al-Qura). This period allows the bodies concerned, such as the Center and the health facilities, to prepare to apply it, and is consistent with Article 26, which requires the regulations to be issued within 90 days of publication so that they begin to apply with the law.
2. Repeal: the law repeals all provisions that conflict with it. Any earlier rules that contradict its provisions are no longer in force, while whatever does not conflict with it remains.
