Entitlement to and Calculation of the Pension in the Saudi Military Retirement Law
استحقاق المعاش التقاعدي وحسابه — نظام التقاعد العسكري
Cases of entitlement to a pension after eighteen years of service, or twenty years of military and civil service, or on reaching fifty-five, or on retirement on request after fifteen years; and settling the pension at one thirty-fifth of the last basic salary.

The article sets out when a military person is entitled to a pension on retirement, according to his service period, age or reason his service ended, and how the award is settled if he does not reach the pension period.

The article provides that the military pension is settled at one thirty-fifth of the last basic salary, and that the pension may not exceed the amount of that salary.
يسوى المعاش على أساس جزء من خمسة وثلاثين جزءًا من الراتب الأساسي الأخير على أن لا يتجاوز المعاش مقدار هذا الراتب
- Article 10Amended (1425 AH)
The article provides that the retirement pension is settled, and the Article 9 award is granted, on the basis of the last salary the military person was receiving.
يسوى المعاش التقاعدي وتمنح المكافأة المنصوص عليها في المادة (9) من هذا النظام على أساس آخر راتب كان يتقاضاه العسكري.
