Violations such as adulterating or selling devices, bringing in unregistered ones, promoting with untrue information, and breaching transport and storage conditions. Penalties: a fine up to SAR 5,000,000, temporary closure, suspension or cancellation of authorization and license. For fraud, up to ten years' imprisonment or a fine up to SAR 10,000,000. Doubled on repeat; the judgment is published.
