Penalties for Fireworks and Firecrackers in the Saudi Explosives and Fireworks Law
عقوبات المفرقعات والألعاب النارية — نظام المتفجرات والمفرقعات
Imprisonment of up to six months and a fine of up to one hundred thousand riyals for smuggling, making or trading in firecrackers; and a fine of up to forty thousand riyals for an authorized person who violates the conditions of the permit, transport and storage.

- Article 21
The article punishes with up to 6 months in prison and a fine of up to SAR 100,000, or either, anyone who smuggles fireworks into the Kingdom, makes them or trades in them.
يعاقب بالسجن مدة لا تتجاوز ستة أشهر، وبغرامة لا تزيد على مائة ألف ريال، أو بإحدى هاتين العقوبتين؛ كل من هرب مفرقعات إلى داخل المملكة، أو صنعها، أو اتجر فيها.
- Article 22
The article punishes a fireworks permit holder with a fine of up to SAR 40,000 for not renewing the permit within 3 months while continuing the activity, or for breaching the permit, transport or storage conditions.
يعاقب المصرح له بصناعة المفرقعات ، أو استيرادها، أو تصديرها، أو استعمالها، أو تداولها، بغرامة مالية لا تتجاوز أربعين ألف ريال في الحالات الآتية: أ - إذا انتهت مدة التصريح الممنوح له، واستمر في مزاولة نشاطه، ولم يتقدم بطلب تجديد تصريحه خلال ثلاثة أشهر من تاريخ انتهاء تصريحه. ب - إذا خالف أيا من شروط التصريح الممنوح…
