Recording and Investigating Engineering Violations in the Saudi Engineering Professions Law

Violations are recorded by Council employees named by the Minister; the Bureau of Investigation and Public Prosecution investigates and prosecutes and the competent court hears the case; and the committee for other violations is formed, decides by reasoned majority decisions and refers related violations.

The article assigns detecting violations of the Engineering Professions Practice Law and its regulations to Authority employees named by decision of the Minister.

The article sets fines of up to SAR 1,000,000 for practicing without accreditation or a license or knowingly employing an unaccredited person, and up to one year in prison for false information, misleading advertising and impersonating titles.
