تنتهي العضوية في المجلس بأحد الأسباب الآتية:
1- انتهاء مدتها.
2- تعيين العضو في منصب أو وظيفة حكومية.
3- وفاة العضو.
4- فقد العضو الأهلية الشرعية أو عجزه عن أداء مهمات العضوية.
5- استقالة العضو كتابيًّا.
6- غياب العضو عن ثلاثة اجتماعات متوالية أو خمسة متفرقة في الدورة الواحدة دون عذر يقبله المجلس.
ولا تعد العضوية منتهية إلا بصدور قرار من المجلس.

Article 11 explained in plain English
This article specifies the reasons membership ends on the Center's board of directors:
- Expiry of its term.
- Appointment of the member to a government position or post, so the membership of someone who has come to hold a government post does not continue.
- Death of the member.
- The member losing legal capacity under Sharia or being unable to perform the duties of membership.
- Resignation of the member in writing, so oral resignation is not enough.
- Absence from 3 consecutive meetings or 5 separate meetings in one term without an excuse accepted by the board.
One of the most important provisions of the article is its statement: "membership is not considered ended except by a decision of the board". The occurrence of the reason alone does not end membership automatically; the board must issue a decision to that effect.
As to the absence ground, note that the count is made "in one term", and that absence with an excuse accepted by the board is not counted. This is connected with Article 10: a person whose membership has ended remains bound to maintain the confidentiality of the board's work even after their work on it ends.
