A civil association is defined as a group with continuing organization, not for profit, for purposes of charity, solidarity, or religious, social, cultural, professional, scientific or similar activity. A civil organization is one relying on the funds, endowments and gifts of its founders. Family and community funds are treated as civil organizations.

تسري على المؤسسات فيما لم يرد في شأنه نص خاص ، الأحكام الواردة في هذا النظام المتعلقة بالجمعيات ، وذلك باستثناء الأحكام الخاصة بجمعيات النفع العام ، وما يتعلق بالأحكام الخاصة بالإعانات الحكومية.
