Violations by Inspection Bodies and Penalties in the Saudi Vehicle Inspection Regulation

The article penalizes a violating inspection body with a warning, a fine of up to SAR 100,000 or closure of up to six months, with license cancellation possible for repeat violations.

مع عدم الإخلال بأي عقوبة أشد مقررة نظاماً، تعاقب جهة الفحص المخالفة لأحكام التنظيم أو اللائحة بعقوبة (أو أكثر) من العقوبات الآتية: أ- الإنذار. ب- غرامة لا تزيد على مائة ألف ريال. ج- الإغلاق لمدة لا تتجاوز ستة أشهر، ويجوز عند تكرار المخالفة إلغاء الترخيص نهائياً.

The article provides for one or more committees formed by decision of the Authority's chairman, of at least three members, to examine inspection bodies' violations and impose the Article 10 penalties.

The article allows anyone against whom the violations committee has issued a decision imposing any of the Article 10 penalties to object to it before the Administrative Court.

يحق لمن صدر في شأنه قرار من اللجنة المنصوص عليها في المادة (الحادية عشرة) من التنظيم بأي من العقوبات المنصوص عليها في المادة (العاشرة) من التنظيم الاعتراض عليه أمام المحكمة الإدارية.

The article assigns oversight and inspection of inspection bodies, and recording their violations of the Regulation or the Implementing Regulations, to employees named by decision of the Authority's chairman.

يتولى موظفون -يصدر بتسميتهم قرار من الرئيس- الرقابة والتفتيش على جهة الفحص، وضبط ما يقع منها من مخالفات لأحكام التنظيم أو اللائحة.
