Tourism Destinations and Assets in the Saudi Tourism Law
الوجهات والمقومات السياحية — نظام السياحة
Tourism destinations are designated by decision of the Council of Ministers; environmental protection requirements; rules for investing in destinations and their facilities; the ban on harming tourism's reputation or encroaching on tourism destinations and assets; and integration of government and private bodies in applying the standards.

The Ministry and government bodies work with the private and non-profit sectors and the community to achieve the Law's goals, and bodies must apply the Article 2(3) criteria as a minimum.

Tourism destinations are designated by decision of the Council of Ministers on the Minister of Tourism's proposal, covering their assets, properties, environmental and planning requirements, and investment.

It is prohibited to harm the reputation of tourism in the Kingdom or encroach on tourism destinations and assets, and bodies must coordinate to protect them and take them into account in planning.

The Minister of Tourism, by decision and in coordination with the competent bodies, issues the rules for investing in tourism destinations and the facilities they need.
دون إخلال بالأنظمة واللوائح ذات العلاقة، يصدر بقرار من الوزير-بالتنسيق مع الجهات المختصة- قواعد استثمار الوجهات السياحية والتسهيلات اللازمة لها.
