Powers of the Public Prosecution in the Saudi Public Prosecution Law

Investigating crimes; disposing of the investigation by filing or shelving the case; public prosecution before judicial bodies; requesting appeal or cassation of judgments; supervising the enforcement of criminal judgments; and a Council of Ministers decision may assign investigation and prosecution of offenses entrusted to other government bodies (Article 3).
