Pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and health practitioners may not be employed without a practice license. A full-time Saudi pharmacist is required to manage the factory and the scientific office and to work in promoting and presenting preparations, with the nationality requirement waivable.

- Article 9
This article bars a pharmaceutical establishment from employing pharmacists, pharmacy technicians or other health practitioners unless they are licensed to practice the profession.
لا يجوز للمنشأة الصيدلية تشغيل الصيادلة أو فنيي الصيدلة أو غيرهم من الممارسين الصحيين ما لم يكن مرخصاً لهم بمزاولة المهنة.
- Article 10
This article limits work in promoting and informing about pharmaceutical and herbal products to a full-time licensed Saudi pharmacist, and lets the President waive the nationality condition when there are not enough Saudi pharmacists.
لا يجوز أن يعمل في مجال الدعاية والتعريف بالمستحضرات الصيدلانية والعشبية إلا صيدلي سعودي متفرغ مرخص له بمزاولة المهنة. وللرئيس الإعفاء من شرط الجنسية إذا لم يتوافر العدد الكافي من الصيادلة السعوديين.
