Importing and Exporting Food in the Saudi Food Law

Imported food is not cleared until the Authority approves, under the conditions and procedures set by the Implementing Regulations. Food exports are limited to establishments licensed by the Authority.

- Article 7
The article bars clearing any imported food before the Authority's approval as set by the Regulations, and assigns the Authority to issue regulations governing the procedures for permission to clear it.
لا يجوز فسح الغذاء المستورد إلا بعد موافقة الهيئة وفقاً للشروط والمتطلبات والإجراءات التي تحددها اللائحة، وتصدر الهيئة اللوائح المنظمة لإجراءات الإذن بفسح الغذاء المستورد إلى المملكة.

The article limits food exports to establishments the Food and Drug Authority has licensed for that.
لا يجوز تصدير الغذاء إلا من منشأة ترخص لها الهيئة بذلك.
