Apprehension of Violating Expatriates in the Saudi Rules on Expatriate Violators

The Ministry of Interior apprehends runaway workers, workers absent from work, those who overstay after arriving on Hajj, Umrah, visit, tourism, treatment and transit visas, and infiltrators, as well as those who employ, shelter, transport or cover for them; violators are housed in shelter centers until deportation; executive decisions are issued and the rules take effect.

- Article 1
Article 1 tasks the Ministry of Interior with arresting, detaining, penalizing and deporting expatriate violators, and with arresting anyone who employs, harbors, shelters, transports or helps them.

Article 9 provides for sheltering expatriate violators in shelter centers established for that purpose until they are deported.
يكون إيواء الوافدين المخالفين المشار إليهم في هذه القواعد في مراكز الإيواء - التي تنشأ لهذا الغرض - وذلك إلى حين ترحيلهم .
- Article 13
Article 13 authorizes the Minister of Interior to issue the executive decisions needed to apply the rules for dealing with expatriates who violate the laws.
يصدر وزير الداخلية ما يلزم من القرارات التنفيذية لتطبيق ما ورد في هذه القواعد.
- Article 14
Article 14 provides for publishing the rules for dealing with expatriates who violate the laws in the Official Gazette and their taking effect from the date of publication.
