Complying with the media policy; a ban on insulting God, the Quran, the Prophets and the Companions; no harm to the King or Crown Prince; a ban on stirring discord and inciting violence and terrorism; protecting intellectual property; a ban on unlicensed medical and investment ads, false information, privacy violations and content offending public morals; and modest dress for female presenters.

  Everyone who carries out an activity or profession in audiovisual media must comply with the content controls, and the article lists seventeen main controls.
