Activating the emergency plan; suspending activity in whole or in part for no more than thirty days to avoid a disaster; and the service provider's notifying the Center of emergency incidents or serious errors and submitting a report on their causes and measures.

The article allows the Minister or his delegate, after coordinating with the relevant bodies, to activate the waste emergency plan or suspend an activity wholly or partly for up to 30 days to avert a disaster.

The article requires a service provider, in emergency incidents or serious errors causing a disruption in waste management, to notify the Center and submit a report on the causes, measures and effects.
على مقدم الخدمة في حالة الحوادث الطارئة أو الأخطاء الجسيمة التي تُسبب خللاً في سير العمل عند إدارة النفايات؛ أن يشعر المركز بذلك، وأن يقدم تقريراً يبين فيه أسباب الحادث والتدابير التي اتخذها للسيطرة عليه، وما ترتب على ذلك من آثار، وذلك وفقاً لما تحدده اللائحة.
