Prohibiting the transfer or publication of recordings except with the approval of the Ministry or the Presidency of State Security, by court order or at the request of the investigating authority; the security bodies' power to view broadcasts and recordings, analyze them and present them to the court; and the role of the Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority.

- Article 7
The article gives the Ministry of Interior or the Presidency of State Security the power to watch the camera feed and recordings, keep a copy and analyze the data where necessary for security reasons, and to provide them to the court and investigation body if requested.
للوزارة أو رئاسة أمن الدولة -بحسب الأحوال- مشاهدة بث وتسجيلات كاميرات المراقبة الأمنية، والاحتفاظ بنسخة منها ومعالجة وتحليل بياناتها في حال كان هناك ضرورة ولأسباب تتعلق بالأمن، بما لا يتعارض مع الأنظمة ذات العلاقة، وتقديمها للمحكمة المختصة، وجهة التحقيق المختصة، إذا طلب منها ذلك.
- Article 8
The article assigns the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority to develop systems for processing and analyzing the camera feed and recordings, and to enable the Ministry of Interior and the Presidency of State Security to use them.
تتولى الهيئة السعودية للبيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي -باستخدام تقنيات البيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي- تطوير أنظمة معالجة وتحليل بث وتسجيلات كاميرات المراقبة الأمنية، وتمكين الوزارة ورئاسة أمن الدولة -بحسب الأحوال- من استخدامها والاستفادة منها وفقاً للأنظمة ذات الصلة؛ وذلك بما لا يتعارض مع الأنظمة ذات العلاقة.
- Article 6
The article prohibits installing cameras in private places such as bathrooms, changing rooms and examination rooms, requires visible signs showing that cameras are in use, and prohibits transferring or publishing recordings except with a specified permission.

- Article 12
The article sets fines for violating the cameras law from SAR 500 to SAR 20,000 depending on the type of violation, and allows the Minister to issue a table of violations the violator must remove within a set period.
