تصدر قرارات الانتداب :

Article 105 explained in plain English
This article specifies the authority competent to issue officers' secondment decisions, according to the place and length of the secondment:
(a) The Minister issues the secondment decision in two cases:
- if the secondment is outside the Kingdom for any period.
- or inside it for three months or more.
(b) The Chief of the General Staff issues the secondment decision:
- if the secondment is less than three months inside the Kingdom.
- and this is for all ranks.
The practical meaning is that secondment abroad always needs a decision from the Minister however short it is, while for domestic secondment the length makes the difference: less than three months is issued by the Chief of the General Staff, and three months or more is issued by the Minister.
Note that the phrase "for all ranks" in paragraph (b) means that the Chief of the General Staff's power covers all officers whatever their ranks, so long as the secondment is domestic and less than three months. The Minister, under Article 2, is the Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General.
The article does not state the substantive conditions for secondment or its entitlements. A person with a question about the validity of his secondment decision may consult a lawyer specializing in administrative cases and military service matters.
Practical example
Captain Mishaal was seconded to a mission abroad lasting a week, so his secondment decision is issued by the Minister. His colleague seconded to a mission inside the Kingdom lasting a month has his decision issued by the Chief of the General Staff.
