Classification Fields, Grades and Criteria in the Saudi Contractors Classification Law

Fields, activities and grades of classification are set and amended by the Minister's decision, based on the National Guide to Economic Activities; financial limits for each grade are set with the Ministers of Finance and of Economy and Planning; criteria are financial capacity (financial statements), technical, administrative and executive capacity, and the number, type and value of projects.

- Article 4
The article empowers the Minister to set and amend the fields, activities and grades of classification by decision, under the Regulations' controls and based on the National Guide to Economic Activities.
تحدد وتعدل مجالات وأنشطة ودرجات التصنيف بقرارٍ من الوزير، وفق ضوابط تحددها اللائحة، على أن يتم الاستناد في تحديد مجالات وأنشطة التصنيف بناءً على ما ورد بالدليل الوطني للأنشطة الاقتصادية.
- Article 5
The article provides that the financial limits for each classification grade are set and amended by decision of the Minister after agreement with the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Economy and Planning.
تحدد وتعدل الحدود المالية لكل درجة بقرارٍ من الوزير بعد الاتفاق مع وزير المالية ووزير الاقتصاد والتخطيط.
- Article 6
The article sets the criteria for placing a contractor in the grade he deserves: financial capacity, technical, administrative and executive capacity, number, type and value of projects, and any criteria the Regulations set.
يصنف المقاول في الدرجة التي يستحقها في مجالٍ أو نشاطٍ واحدٍ أو أكثر من مجالات وأنشطة التصنيف، وذلك وفقًا للمعايير والشروط الآتية: 1- القدرة المالية: القوائم المالية. 2- القدرة الفنية والإدارية والتنفيذية: الهياكل التنظيمية، الكوادر الإدارية والفنية. 3- إجمالي عدد ونوع وقيمة المشاريع. وأي معايير أو شروط أخرى تحددها…
