Establishing Lineage When the Father Denies It in the Rules on Saudi Children Abroad

The mother's submitting certified marriage documents to the competent authority or the Saudi mission; writing to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the emirate or the Ministry of Interior to take a statement from the father or a first-degree relative; filing a lineage action; and requiring the father to carry out the judgment and pay what was spent, under the rules on enforcing foreign judgments.

• Article 1

  Item one requires a Saudi father to regularize the status of, and support, his children abroad born to a non-Saudi mother, and sets what the mother does if he denies them or disowns them.
