بيع الأحجار الكريمة ومعارض المجوهرات — نظام المعادن الثمينة والأحجار الكريمة
Selling gemstones without a written statement giving the name, type, weight, color, purity and defects of the stone is prohibited; exhibitions of jewelry are held under a license from the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences in coordination with the Ministry of Commerce, and exhibits may be exempted from hallmarking.

The article prohibits selling, displaying or possessing for sale gemstones unless accompanied by a written declaration from the person concerned stating the stone's name, type, weight, color, quality and defects.
يحظر بيع الأحجار الكريمة أو عرضها للبيع أو حيازتها بقصد البيع ما لم تكن مصحوبة بقرار كتابي من صاحب الشأن يوضح فيه اسم الحجر وصنفه ووزنه ولونه ومستوى جودته؛ من حيث درجة النقاء وخواصه وسلامته من الكسر والخدش وتحديد أي عيوب أخرى.

The article permits holding exhibitions of precious metal articles and gemstones under a license from the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences in coordination with the Ministry of Commerce, and exempting exhibits from hallmarking where the intention is display only.
يجوز إقامة معارض مشغولات المعادن الثمينة والأحجار الكريمة وغيرها من الأصناف الخاضعة لهذا النظام بترخيص من الهيئة العامة للمعارض والمؤتمرات بالتنسيق مع وزارة التجارة، ويجوز استثناء المعروضات من الدمغ وبعض الإجراءات الأخرى المنصوص عليها في هذا النظام إذا كان القصد عرضها فقط، وذلك وفقاً لما تحدده اللوائح.
