Article 10 explained in plain English
This article details some provisions of the measures set out in Article 15 of the Juveniles Law; the text does not give the list of those measures, so it must be consulted in the Law itself. It contains three provisions:
- Implementation reports: when the measures are imposed, the court sets the periods within which the body charged with implementation must submit a report on the juvenile's condition. The court thus follows up implementation and does not merely issue the measure.
- Social supervision: the supervision in sub-paragraph (e) of paragraph (1) of Article 15 of the Law includes monitoring the juvenile's behavior in his natural environment using modern monitoring means, unless the court specifies the type of supervision.
- Coordination with civil society: the implementing bodies referred to in paragraph (4) of Article 15 of the Law may coordinate with civil institutions and associations to carry out the measure or measures imposed by the court, unless the court decides otherwise.
Note that the court has the final word in the second and third provisions: it is the one that specifies the type of supervision if it sees fit, and it may decide against coordination with associations. The article does not specify the type of modern means.
