مقاولة السكورتاه هي عبارة عن مقاولة بحرية تتضمن التعهد بإعطاء التضمين تماما إلى المضمن مقابلة لبدل السكورتاه الذي يأخذه صاحب السكورتاه على مقدار ضائعات ومضرات يمكن وقوعها بسبب نائبة بحرية على أشياء يحترز عليها من أن تصادف خطر سفر بحري.
