منع التجارة أو توقيف السفينة إذا وقع أثناء السفر فيعطى في حالة المنع إلى ضباط وملاحي السفينة وأنفارها أجرة الأيام التي خدموا بها ومصاريف عودتهم إلى محلاتهم وفي حالة التوقيف نصف الشهريات لمن كان بالشهرية أثناء مدة توقيف المركب، أما الذين أخذوا للسفرة بتمامها فلا يعطى لهم شيء عن مدة التوقيف بل تعطى لهم حقوقهم وأجرتهم المشروطة لأجل السفر بتمامه فقط.
