كل ربان أو رئيس سفينة أو أي نوع كان من أنواع المراكب بحالة إدارته إلى عهدته يكون مسؤولا عن كل خطأ يفعله في أثناء مأموريته مهما كان خفيفا ومجبورا أيضا على ضمان الأضرار والخسائر.
