Imprisonment of up to five years, a fine of up to SAR 50,000, license withdrawal, suspension from work for up to one year, and confiscation; the bodies that investigate and impose penalties are specified; the Minister of Interior may close the case and suspend execution of penalties.

- Article 4
Article 4 punishes any violation of the Border Security Law or its regulations with one or more penalties, up to five years' imprisonment and a fine of fifty thousand riyals, and leaves the details to the regulations.

Article 6 leaves it to a regulation issued by the Minister of Interior to determine the authorities competent to investigate and impose the penalties under the Border Security Law and its regulations.
تحديد الجهات المختصة بالتحقيق وتوقيع الجزاءات المنصوص عليها في هذا النظام ولوائحه التنفيذية تصدر بها لائحة من وزير الداخلية .
- Article 5
Article 5 permits border personnel to use force, up to the use of weapons, to catch offenses under the law and its regulations, in accordance with Articles 6 and 7 of the Internal Security Forces Law.
لرجال سلاح الحدود في سبيل ضبط أي من الجرائم المنصوص عليها في هذا النظام ولوائحه التنفيذية استعمال القوة إلى حد استعمال السلاح وفقا لما تقضي به المادتان (6 ، 7) من نظام قوات الأمن الداخلي.
