The types of boards and advertisements subject to the rules: boards on pavements and squares, properties overlooking roads, directional boards for shops, boards in enclosed places, on buses, taxis and commercial vehicles, roads outside built-up areas and stadiums; and the rules not applying to government advertisements.

• Article 18

  Article 18 provides that these Rules repeal everything that conflicts with them, and that their provisions do not apply to government boards and advertisements.
