This article sets out when and how the license to practice the valuation profession is issued.
When is the license issued? After registration in the register. Registration in the register comes before the license is issued, and the Valuers Registration Committee decides on registration under Article 7.
Who issues it? The Saudi Authority for Accredited Valuers.
Its scope: the license is issued to practice the profession in the branch named in the registration application. The license is tied to the branch requested, such as real estate, economic establishments, or equipment and movable property, according to the definition of the valuation branches in Article 1.

- عُدلت هذه المادة وذلك بموجب المرسوم الملكي رقم (م/190) وتاريخ 1444/11/22هـ، لتكون بالنص الآتي:
" بعد القيد في السجل، تصدر الهيئة الترخيص بمزاولة مهنة التقييم في الفرع الوارد في طلب القيد، وتحدد اللائحة التنفيذية إجراءات إصداره، والمقابل المالي له، ومدته، وشروط تجديده".

بعد القيد في السجل، تصدر الوزارة الترخيص بمزاولة مهنة التقييم في الفرع الوارد في طلب القيد - وفقاً لما تحدده اللائحة التنفيذية - وتكون مدته خمس سنوات قابلة للتجديد مدداً مماثلة، بناء على طلب يقدم قبل انتهاء الترخيص بتسعين يوماً على الأقل، ويدفع طالب الترخيص من الأشخاص ذوي الصفة الطبيعية رسماً قدره (1000) ألف ريال، عند إصدار الترخيص، وعند كل تجديد .

- Article 5
The article requires a person entered in the valuers' register to be a Saudi of full legal capacity and good conduct, not sentenced for a hadd or a disreputable crime, experienced in the branch, and a basic member of the Authority.
يشترط فيمن يقيد اسمه في السجل أن يكون : 1 ـ سعودي الجنسية . 2 ـ كامل الأهلية . 3 ـ حسن السيرة والسلوك، وغير محكوم عليه بحد شرعي، أو في جريمة مخلة بالشرف أو الأم
