Verify your licence and get the “Verified” badge
Upload your Ministry of Justice licence from your dashboard for review and the badge.
Last updated:
The “Verified” badge tells clients your licence is valid. It is also required to answer legal questions on the site.
Upload your licence from the dashboard
This step appears for listings that are “unverified” or whose verification was rejected.
- Open the lawyer dashboard and scroll to Licence verification inside the “Complete the listing for …” card.
- Enter the licence number.
- Choose the licence photo (PDF or image, up to 10 MB). Both fields are required here.
- Press Send for verification.
You'll see “We received your licence ✓ we review it within one business day and notify you when the badge is approved”, and the listing card status changes to Pending verification.
Upload from a legal question page
If your listing isn't verified, under the answer form on any question page you'll find Verify your licence now. Press it, enter the licence number and image, then send it for verification; you come back to the same question afterwards.
