Updating the Building Code and Its Regulations in the Saudi Building Code Law

The Saudi Building Code Center (formerly the National Committee) studies comments, proposes amendments, prepares guidance and training curricula and represents the Kingdom; the code is updated and reissued every five years; regulations, including the violations classification regulation, are prepared within a year and approved by the Minister of Municipal and Housing Affairs.

This article provides for the Building Code to be updated and reissued every 5 years by decision of the Minister of Commerce and Investment, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization.
يُحدَّث الكود ويعاد إصداره كل خمس سنوات بقرار من وزير التجارة والاستثمار رئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة السعودية للمواصفات والمقاييس والجودة.
