1 - تتولى الوزارة تنفيذ هذا التنظيم، ولها التنسيق مع الصندوق لأداء أي مهمة تتعلق بذلك.
2 - تستقبل الوزارة طلبات الدعم السكني وتبت فيها بعد دراستها.
3 - يقدم الصندوق القروض السكنية للمتقدمين بناءً على القرار الذي تصدره الوزارة في هذا الشأن.

تم تعديل هذه المادة بموجب قرار مجلس الوزراء رقم (74) وتاريخ: 30/ 1/ 1438هـ،لتكون بالنص الآتي:
"تتولى الوزارة تنفيذ هذا التنظيم، ولها التنسيق مع الصندوق وغيره من جهات القطاع العام أو الخاص أو الأهلي، لأداء أي مهمة تتعلق بذلك".
