Conditions for Compensatory Imprisonment in the Saudi Law on Replacing Fines with Imprisonment

The replacement decision being issued by the Minister of Interior in the public interest, provided the convicted person's insolvency is established under Sharia; counting SAR 10 for each day of imprisonment, up to a maximum of one year for a single fine, with the rest dropping; and releasing the prisoner if he pays the rest of the fine.
