أ - تكون لجنة للإشراف على أمور الإخصاب والأجنة وعلاج العقم بقرار من الوزير على النحو الآتي :
1 - وكيل وزارة الصحة أو من ينيبه رئيساً
2 - مدير عام الرخص الطبية في وزارة الصحة عضواً
3 - عضو هيئة تدريس من إحدى كليات الطب بالجامعات السعودية، لا تقل درجته عن أستاذ مشارك في طب أمراض النساء والتوليد وعلاج العقم يسميه وزير التعليم العالي عضواً
4 - استشاري في طب الأطفال الخدج يسميه الوزير عضواً
5 - استشاري متخصص في أمراض العقم والإخصاب يسميه الوزير عضواً
6 - مستشار شرعي يسميه وزير العدل عضواً
7 - مستشار نظامي يسميه الوزير عضواً
ب - يكون مقر اللجنة في الوزارة بالرياض.
ج - تحدد مكافأة رئيس وأعضاء اللجنة من قبل مجلس الوزراء.

(a) Formation: the Committee is formed by decision of the Minister, who under Article 1 is the Minister of Health, as follows:

- The Director General of Medical Licenses at the Ministry of Health: member.
- A faculty member from one of the medical colleges at Saudi universities, of a rank no lower than associate professor in obstetrics and gynecology and infertility treatment, named by the Minister of Higher Education: member.
- A consultant in premature infant (neonatal) pediatrics named by the Minister: member.
- A consultant specialized in infertility and fertilization diseases named by the Minister: member.
- A Sharia adviser named by the Minister of Justice: member.
- A legal adviser named by the Minister: member.
(b) Seat: at the Ministry in Riyadh.
(c) Remuneration: set by the Council of Ministers for the Committee's chair and members.
Note that the composition combines administrative, medical, Sharia and legal expertise. Article 16 then sets the term of membership at three years, renewable, and provides for appointing a replacement for a member who cannot continue, in the same way as the original appointment. Before it, Article 14 obliges units to submit an annual report to this Committee.
