The home page and setup checklist
What your firm's home page shows: the firm setup guide and score, latest notifications, plan meters and upcoming items.
Last updated:
The Home page is the first thing you see when you open your firm. It has four parts (the first is shown to Owners and Partners only).
1. Firm setup guide
Owners and Partners see a “Set up your firm in Practice” card with a setup score ring, plus a short tour on the first visit. Each step completes automatically from your firm’s data:
- Complete the firm details and logo: logo and licence number in Settings.
- Complete the seller details for invoicing: legal name, CR or VAT number and address in Seller profile.
- Choose who can see matters: save the visibility setting once.
- Invite your team: a second active member or a pending invitation. See invite a member. If your plan has no room for another user, it shows as locked with a link to plans.
- Add your first client and Open your first matter.
- Connect the calendar to your phone: subscribe to the calendar or add a first hearing.
You can skip any step or hide the card (×). Steps locked on your plan don’t count towards the score.
2. Latest notifications
Your last 5 notifications with an All notifications link. See Notifications.
3. Your plan
The plan name and usage meters against the limits (open matters, contacts, users, storage, generated documents, invoices, intake forms). A meter turns red when the limit is reached. See Compare the plans.
4. Upcoming hearings and deadlines
A section at the bottom listing upcoming hearings, statutory deadlines and tasks assigned to you.
